EDUCATION APOSTOLATE
The education is an important mission area of Nirmalrani Province. There are 51 Sisters in Nirmalrani Province called to the teaching profession to sow the seeds of knowledge in children caught up in various evils and misguided media culture. Sisters working in this field visit the children's home and try to identify who are going through various mental disorders and to give them the advice to get over the
problems which they face. Nirmal Jyothi Public School, which was started in June
2004 with the objective of imparting English education to the children of the common people of Vellayamkudy area, now has students from LKG to Class X. Teaching here instills faith in God and Christian values in children. The third child ofa Catholic family attending this school is entitled to a half fee waiver and the fourthchild to a full fee waiver. Nirmal Jyothi School received NOC on 18 June 2012 from Government of Kerala.
Assisi Special School has been established on 1993 at Vellayamkudy to care and support the differently abled children of Idukki District. The differently abled children are given face education and free boarding 100 Students are there at Assisi Special School. These children are enabled to participate in National and International competitions and won medal. Two children from Assisi Special School won third place in the Unified World Cup football tournament held in the United States and Abu Dhabi through training in the arts.
There are four nursery schools in the Province and they are: St. Joseph's Nursery School Josgiri (1998), St. Peter's Nursery School, Chemakappara (1994), St. Sebastian's Nursery School (2010) closest to Pazhayarikandam Convent, and St. Joseph's Nursery School (2017) currently operating at Panamkutty UP School (2017).
In addition St. Alphonsa Primary School been operating in Kikwawila, Tanzania since 2019. The Sisters take care of the children who come to these schools to reach out to the literate world and impart morality and faith in God.
